Questions
Star Topology
The Star topology may have a hub, bridge, or a switch at the center. The cable type may be either UTP (Unshielded twisted pair) or STP (Shielded twisted pair).
Pros and cons.
Very easy to troubleshoot, since a cable fault will only affect one node.
This is the easiest topology to expand.

Extended Star topology
The extended star is nothing more than two stars connected together.

The next topology will be the Ring Topology.
