The CompTIA® A+ test (220-601) is an entry level certificate that demonstrates basic competency
in computer repair skills. Contrary to what some may believe Certified A+ Technicians do not use
hammers to repair broken computers!
CompTIA® actually states at their web site that 500 hours of practical experience which equates
to approximately 3 months is all that is required, but keep in mind this is very unrealistic.
With the use of a good book and a solid set of practice questions you will have the tools to master the exam for certification.
